The Chicago Bears head into their first home game of the NFL season as slight favorites when they host the Philadelphia Eagles, but we’ve seen nothing from them to suggest a better year than last in 2016/17. Having won just six of their 16 games last season, the Bears kicked off their new campaign with a loss to the Texans and their recent home record doesn’t exactly provide any solace – they’ve lost 10 of their past 11 home games including their last five straight.
By contrast, Philadelphia’s rookie quarterback Carson Wentz impressed in leading his side to a 29-10 win over Cleveland last week in a highly promising debut. We like his chances of a repeat performance against the Bears.
