The who’s who of Macau’s VIP social and entertainment scenes…

With summer approaching it’s been all about celebrities in Macau with a number of high profile shows and award ceremonies providing an abundance of red carpet opportunities.

Leading the charge was none other than global pop icon Madonna, who wowed Macau audiences over two big nights with her monstrous, over the top performances. The who’s who of the Asian music scene turned out in force to see Madonna prove she can still mix it with the best!

It was another big night in music in mid-April with the Venetian playing host to the 20th Channel [V] China Music Awards. Twins, Raymond Lam, Jonathan Wong, Vincy Chan, PSY, VIXX, iKON and JJ Lin were among the music stars in attendance.

Just as exciting were the Asian Film Awards with many of the region’s finest and most accomplished actors on hand to see who would take out the top prize in each of 15 different awards categories.

And speaking of film, the third instalment of the popular Kung Fu Panda series hit the red carpet as Sands Resorts hosted the premiere of Kung Fu Panda 3. It represented the fifth DreamWorks Animation movie to come to The Venetian Theatre.
