Oriental Group is using its widespread gaming experience and trusted name to bring some unique features to its recently launched online gaming brand Oriental Game

For anyone that has tried their hand at online gaming – or even toyed with the idea – at some stage there have likely been a few questions you’d like to ask. Who’s running this game? Where is it being run? How do I know it can be trusted?

WGM has long strived to answer questions such as these for our readers, so we didn’t hesitate when one of Asia’s leading gaming companies, Oriental Group, offered us a behind-the-scenes preview of their online gaming platform Oriental Game.

Launched on 27 July 2015, Oriental Game is a licensed live dealer platform that aims to provide players with an experience that closely resembles what you would find were you to hit the tables at your local bricks-and-mortar casino.

This is achieved through the use of live dealers, so rather than simply viewing an animated baccarat or roulette table when logged on, players are instead watching video of dealers, live and in real time. Oriental Game offers five live table games – Baccarat, Dragon Tiger, Sic Bo, Fan Tan and Roulette – with all games conducted at a state-of-the-art studio in the City of Makati in the Philippines.

And although WGM couldn’t help notice that the dealers all happen to be stunning-looking females, each and every one has undergone an extensive training process to ensure the facilitation of games is done with ease and with utmost fairness in mind.

There are even pit bosses watching on behind the scenes just as in any bricks-and-mortar establishment!

As an added touch, Oriental Game has thrown in a couple of notable features which not only add to the realism of the game but also provide players with peace of mind that yes, these game really are being dealt live.

Not only can players choose to squeeze the cards when playing baccarat or tip a dealer when winning, they can also converse directly with dealers by typing into a chat box and watching their response. It’s quite a nifty addition for those who enjoy a bit of banter while playing.

As an online platform, Oriental Game has benefited from the broader gaming experience of its parent company, Oriental Group – particularly in regard to telephone proxy betting in the Philippines.

Oriental Group runs its proxy betting from one of the company’s land-based facilities at the Midas Hotel in Metro Manila where 34 VIP baccarat tables are equipped with HD cameras – with video streaming and voice over Internet protocol (VOIP) capabilities – which opens the door for clients to play either onsite or by phoning through.

Holding company Oriental Holdings’ other land-based operations include Eastern Hawaii hotel and resort in Cagayan, which houses around 50 gaming tables and was the first casino resort complex to be established in the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority.

It also runs the Oriental Group VIP Club in VIP Room 19 of Solaire Resort & Casino’s luxurious Sky Tower. The room boasts six baccarat tables, an office and reception to welcome guests with a mandate of providing an extravagant gaming experience for VIPs.

Needless to say, when it comes to online gaming we very much follow the mantra that bigger is better.
