The Stallion is always looking for a place to get down and party and Divino in Macau is just the sort of place you can expect to find him.

Being as I keep my ear to the ground, as soon as a new partying establishment opens its doors in Macau I’m always eager to check it out. I got onto my cell phone and rang around the boys. The Dragon and Pai Yao were out of town, I decided against calling The Phoenix and The Butterfly, but had some luck with a few others. The Panda, The Tiger and The Eagle were all looking for a big night out and they met me at Divino Macau at 9 pm sharp.

I love a happy hour. In many countries, they have been scared off the happy hour and especially the all-you-can-drink happy hours, but thankfully in Macau there is no problem with letting your hair down and enjoying yourself. Divino offers the all-you-can-drink happy hour between 9 and 11 pm Tuesdays to Sundays for just MOP$380. While you down your bottomless drinks, the ladies will entertain you with their pole dancing skills and their conversation. Now this is no go-go or topless strip joint. It’s a classy gentlemen’s club, a concept new to Macau.

Our drinks were flowing and the service was excellent. It was obvious the management has taken time to ensure everyone’s needs are well taken care of. The dancers come from all over the world and the ladies from Taiwan and Eastern Europe really blew my mane back. Their expertise and routines are simply breathtaking. Think of sexy, burlesque performers and that’s Divino. I struggled to drag The Eagle out at 4 am the next morning as he claimed he never wanted to leave the back private dance area.

Divino calls itself “Macau’s number one international show club” and who am I to argue. It has a great location in the heart of Macau, opposite the Grand Emperor Hotel, in the famous AIA Tower. When entering you are greeted by Divino’s lovely door staff and escorted to two levels and 8,000 square feet of sheer opulence. State-of-the-art sound and lighting create the perfect atmosphere for an establishment like this. There are even VIP rooms overlooking the main stage and one that’s so private, it has its own separate elevator entrance.

Inspired European styling with Chinese elements best describes the Divino experience. From an all-out party night to discreet VIP suites, Divino has everyone taken care off. Let’s face it, we all like pretty girls and Divino has taken a model popularized in Las Vegas, improved upon it and brought it to our very own gaming capital. Divino aims to create a sense of refinement and class, perfect to enjoy with your buddies or close business associates.

While the WGM team had a great night out and can’t wait to get back there, this is a new concept for Macau and there is no shortage of bars with pretty girls in this city. It will be interesting to see if the visiting junket players and Macau’s residents embrace this new Western-style take on an evening’s entertainment.
