The Playboy Bunnies hopped right into the heart of Macau for a worldwide party to celebrate 50 years of Playboy Clubs. The Sands Casino Macau not only hosted the Macau leg of the party but it is getting ready to open Macau’s first Playboy Club.

The champagne was flowing on June 10 as the Playboy Clubs 50th Anniversary Party kicked off at Sands Macau. This party was special as it was one of 50 parties staged from every corner of the globe to celebrate one of the world’s sexiest icons, the Playboy Bunny. It was standing room only as patrons crammed into The View at the Sands to see 20 of the world’s hottest Bunnies and a former Playboy centrefold.

The Sands group has landed the Macau contract for the famous Playboy brand and The View is going to be transformed into Macau’s number one night spot. The new upmarket club will combine entertainment with that Playboy polish and charm, seeing party-goers from across the globe putting Macau on their list of must visit cities.

The Playboy brand was created, by Mr. Hugh Heffner, who took a small magazine and turned it upside down by showing young male readers what they wanted to see: beautiful women and not much else. The brand has come a long way since then and the Playboy Clubs are a major part of that.

“When I opened the original Playboy Club in 1960, I wanted to bring Playboy magazine to life and invite others to experience the ‘Good Life’ featured in its back pages. Now, 50 years later, the Bunny is back.”

“Heff “, as he has become affectionately known, may not have been at the Macau Party but he was there in spirit. There was an incredible range of beautiful young girls who all proudly wore the bunny ears in the name of a good party. World Gaming was invited along to cover the party and we have had worse assignments.

We hope you enjoy some of the photos from the party and stay tuned as we bring you more about the Playboy Club Macau in our upcoming issues.
